"The One Thing"

In the Gospel story of Mary and Martha, Jesus says to Martha, "You are anxious and troubled 
about many things, but only one thing is needful." (Luke 10:41)
As I was writing A New Earth, people would sometimes ask me, "What is the new book about?" And invariably, my answer would be, "I only ever write or speak about one thing." What is that one thing? Spiritual awakening. Can a person be awakened spiritually by a book? Yes, if three conditions are met:
Firstly, there must be a readiness on the part of the reader, an openness, a receptivity to spiritual truth, which is to say, a readiness to awaken. For the first time in history of humanity, large numbers of people have reached that point of readiness, which explains why millions have responded so deeply to The Power of Now.
Secondly, the text must have transformative power. This means the words must have come out of the awakened consciousness rather than the accumulated knowledge of a person’s mind. Only then will a text be charged with that power, a power that goes far beyond the informational value of the words. That is why such a book can be read again and again and lose none of its aliveness.
Thirdly, the terminology used needs to be as neutral as possible so that it transcends the confines of any one culture, religion, or spiritual tradition. Only then will it be accessible to a broad range of readers world-wide, regardless of cultural background.

The Law of Allowing
When you use your thoughts to create something in your life, you are telling the universe what you want. Then, you put your feelings and emotions into it and create a vibration equal to your desire. You are tuned in, and turned on. Your desire is on it's way to you now! However, you are not finished...if you wish to complete the process and see your creation manifest in your life, you must practice letting go of resistance to your desires.
The Law of Allowing completes the cycle of Attraction and manifestation.
This is why some people seem to get what they want while others do not. The people who do get what they want, use all the Laws of the Universe in precisely the right way. They are not only clear about what they are wanting to manifest, they are also completely tuned into their own thoughts and feelings about their desires. They vibrate to it and they acknowledge it as already being in existence. They send out the signal to the universe that they are one with what they want and are claiming that they are allowing themselves to receive it without doubt, fear, or worry.
"All that I desire, comes to me effortlessly, and joyfully! I am worthy and deserving of all that I desire and more!"
The Law of Allowing works! It just takes practice. You must acknowledge your own Divine Worthiness to receive the many gifts the Universe is waiting to offer to you!

Health vs. Profit
There are natural and non-surgical cures for virtually every disease. Many organizations, including the FDA, the pharmaceutical industry, and the FTC are diligently working to prevent you from learning or hearing about this information. It has been reported that corporate fraud is at an all-time high. The main objective of the health care industry is to increase profits. Industry big-wigs are making millions of dollars as long as drugs are being sold, and people remain sick. The Associated Press reported that "drug companies are seeing that cancer can be very lucrative." The article goes on to say how drug companies will be making billions of dollars in profits by selling cancer drugs, even though they do not work!
The article exposes that the curing of cancer would be devastating to companies. Companies only make money as long as people have cancer and are convinced that they need to keep taking the drugs. The fact is, is that absolutely no research is being done on natural remedies for the treatment of cancer, and absolutely no research is being done on the prevention of cancer! The health-care industry has no interest in curing or preventing disease. Again, the main objective of the health care industry is to increase profits! Understand that all officers and directors of publicly traded corporations have only one objective and that is to increase shareholder value, to increase profits, to increase sales, and to get more people to use their products. The LEGAL responsibility of corporations is to increase profits above all else! Understand that one of the major causes of all illness and disease is actually the vaccines, over-the-counter drugs, and prescription drugs! The drug companies themselves are causing the majority of illness and disease around the world! They are not curing disease, they are causing disease. There are many documents that support this, and Kevin Trudeau does an excellent job of outlining the facts in his book: Natural Cures "They" Don't Want You To Know About.
The driving force behind the corruption and fraud in the healthcare industry is caused by the power of greed and the love of money. People are very motivated by power, influence and money, and will go to great lengths to get there, even at the expense of millions of people, and their health and well-being. The point of all of this is not to scare you...there is enough fear based motivation in the world already. The point is to encourage you to take your health and well being into your own hands and stop buying into the fear driven money making machine that is our present health-care system. Educate yourself on what it means to be truly healthy without dependence on entities that do not have your best interests in mind.
