Affirmative Intention and Gratitude

One of the most amazing things about being a human being is that our minds cannot tell the difference between something imagined and something that we are actually experiencing. All of the the same neuro-pathways fire in the brain and create the same emotions or, energy in motion.  This energy is creative energy...God-energy...life force.

The science of quantum physics proves that "thoughts are things", and so it makes sense that daily practice of affirmation and intention, or deliberate creation, along with a generous dose of gratitude, can make for an extraordinary life.

Life itself is a creative process. We are here to create our own worlds as we go along. Some of us have forgotten that Truth...some of us are just remembering. Life is supposed to be Joyful, and Loving and FUN!

And it will be! And it is!

An excellent way that I have found to spur the creative process of deliberate creation, or "affirmative intention" is to buy a blank notebook. Any notebook will do. And have no rules for yourself. No judgement of what you write. Just write. Stream of consciousness thought. Even if all you can think about is "I can't think of anything to write. What should I write? What should I write? What should I write?"...Write that down! Keep writing! At least one page. Work your way up to more. It gets easier and eventually, if you stick with it, you will find your inner nature. Your truth. God within you. Or, if you prefer...the Force. Whatever you call it, it is recognizable by the fact that it makes you feel happy, and excited and joyful, and free and wonderful when you write it (and read it), and sometimes it you will question if it was even yourself that wrote the words.

Focusing on the things you are grateful for is an excellent way to generate the energy within you that will bring you a life you love! Since thoughts are "magnetic", thoughts of gratitude will bring you more of what you are grateful for. Everyone has at least one thing they can find to be grateful for, even if it is that "I got out of bed this morning". Feel the gratitude for that one thing, and thought, by it's very nature will create another thought of gratitude.

Intend your life the way you choose it to be! See yourself in your mind's eye doing the things you love to do with the ones you love to do them with, money flowing easily and effortlessly, happiness, play and laughter, etc. and soon you will be there. If you have been there in the mind, you'll go there in the body.

The Meditation Process

Buddha%20SF.jpgEvery day, for no more than 10 to 15 minutes, sit quietly by yourself in a pleasant place where you will not be interrupted, maybe in your vehicle, or in your garden, in the bathroom, in your bedroom. Choose a quiet place. Anywhere you can shut down your physical senses.  An eye pillow and/or earplugs can be very helpful to tune out the outside and go within.

Be aware of your breathing. Your breath going in, and be conscious of your breathing out. Concentrate on long breaths in and long breaths out. Breathe the air in until you think it is all your lungs can comfortably hold, then take another sip and softly bring still more air in. At the moment of full lung expansion and take a long, slow moment to let all the air out. Let your intention be nothing more than being fully in the moment and being conscious of your breath.

Nothing to do other than breathe. Not thinking about how someone is doing. Not fixing a meal. Not thinking about work or what happened yesterday, or worrying about the future, or combing your hair. Not focusing on anything else in this moment except air in, air out.

This is a state of allowing, where for a few moments, you stop trying to control everything and you become conscious of your connection to your source energy; your inner being, God, whatever you wish to call it.

You are in a state of allowing pure source energy to flow through you.

Fifteen minutes a day is usually sufficient to manifest significant changes in your life. One of the benefits you will notice is that things you have been wanting will start to show up in your life.

Why does just 15 minutes of just being set things in motion?

Because you have already been asking, and during your time of meditation, you let go of the resistance that has been holding your desires away from you.

By practicing meditation you are allowing your desires to now flow into your experience, and you can joyously live the life you have always dreamed of.

Defining What You Want...

To get clear on what you want, sometimes you must get clear on what you do not want. This is all part of the process. Trust your own process. We are each unique, and we must learn to trust in our own process, and not beat up on ourselves for not being where we want to be in life at any given time. We are always where we need  to be.
 Trust in that. Have Faith.
All is Always (and All Ways) Well in My World.
