The Meditation Process

Every day, for no more than 10 to 15 minutes, sit quietly by yourself in a pleasant place where you will not be interrupted, maybe in your vehicle, or in your garden, in the bathroom, in your bedroom. Choose a quiet place. Anywhere you can shut down your physical senses. An eye pillow and/or earplugs can be very helpful to tune out the outside and go within.

Be aware of your breathing. Your breath going in, and be conscious of your breathing out. Concentrate on long breaths in and long breaths out. Breathe the air in until you think it is all your lungs can comfortably hold, then take another sip and softly bring still more air in. At the moment of full lung expansion and take a long, slow moment to let all the air out.

Let your intention be nothing more than being fully in the moment and being conscious of your breath. Nothing to do other than breathe.

Not thinking about how someone is doing. Not fixing a meal. Not thinking about work or what happened yesterday, or worrying about the future, or combing your hair. Not focusing on anything else in this moment except air in, air out.

This is a state of allowing, where for a few moments, you stop trying to control everything and you become conscious of your connection to your source energy; your inner being, God, whatever you wish to call it.

You are in a state of allowing pure source energy to flow through you.

Fifteen minutes a day is usually sufficient to manifest significant changes in your life. One of the benefits you will notice is that things you have been wanting will start to show up in your life.

Why does just 15 minutes of just being set things in motion?

Because you have already been asking, and during your time of meditation, you let go of the resistance that has been holding your desires away from you.

With practiced meditation you will be allowing your desires to now flow into your experience and you can joyously live the live you have always dreamed of!
