"Do what you love and the money will follow"

We have all heard this before. What exactly does it mean? Does it mean that if I spend all day communing with nature then money for my bills will just fall from the sky? If I work on this website from my inner joy of creating and love of humanity, will I receive checks in the mail? If I travel the world out of curiosity and a desire to know other cultures, will deposits magically appear in my bank account?

Maybe...

How do we live a life we love and take care of our financial needs?

I have been searching for years to find (or create) that one thing that I could enjoy doing that earned me a living. A good living would be a bonus. I just haven't seemed to find it yet.  I go to work day after day to earn my money while working on the things I love when I can squeeze a minute or two here or there.

Today, I took the day off to spend my time doing what makes me feel good.

After I wasted time and energy justifying my reasons for doing so, I had a realization.

Maybe, my money, my financial well-being, does not have to come from doing the things that make me feel good...
Rather, by doing the things that make me feel good, I open myself up to the unlimited abundance of the universe! It certainly feels good to do what feels good! And who doesn't want to feel good?

Too many of us are in jobs that are not fulfilling us on the inside. We are limiting our self-expression and growth, therefore we are limited in our ability to create a life we love to live. Maybe we don't feel we deserve to be happy all the time.

To the extent that we open up and allow ourselves to feel deserving and happy...this is what will allow the energies of the Universe to rush in and provide us with the exactly the right situations at exactly the right times. And take care of all of our needs no matter what we choose to spend our time doing. I believe this to be true. As a matter of fact, I have proven to myself time and again that it most definitely is true. It is in the relaxing and allowing that the magic happens.

This is easier said than done. Fear and "logic" can step in and throw us off course.

This is where faith and creativity comes in...the ability to imagine what is wanted rather than observing what is. If we are only observing what is, then we will only create more of what is. We are far more powerful than we think we are. Our thoughts create our perception of our reality, our life. When we change our thoughts, we change our reality. It is to our benefit to think the thoughts that allow us to do the things that make us happy, while money flows to us easily and frequently from wherever it may be at that moment. It is really not our job to decide how that will happen. It is simply our job to learn to allow it to happen.
"The content of your vibration (your life) equals how you feel right now. And whether you're thinking about the past, the present or the future, how you feel right now -- as you think about the past, the present or the future -- is your life. And it's a precious, fabulous, creative life that you are not wanting to squander in a place of resistance. Your life is right now.
If you're not selfish enough to want to feel good, then you can't connect with the energy that is your Source which does always feel good".   ~Abraham

Get clear on what it is that you are wanting. Feeeel what it will feel like when you have it, or are being it, or doing it. Whatever "it" is for you. Use your imagination! Do the things moment to moment that make you happy, and gives thanks in joyous expectation of the abundance that is on its way to you right now.

"Do what you love and the money will follow"

Relax.
Breathe.
Smile.
You Are Loved.
All Is Well.
